{"id":48,"date":"2005-04-22T16:58:00","date_gmt":"2005-04-22T22:58:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.xenopulse.com\/blog\/?p=48"},"modified":"2005-04-22T16:58:00","modified_gmt":"2005-04-22T22:58:00","slug":"there%e2%80%99s-a-baby-in-there","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.xenopulse.com\/blog\/?p=48","title":{"rendered":"There\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a baby in there"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial;font-size:85%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;\">Yesterday I took my first trip with my wife to her doctor, as well as a sonographer.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>This is was a fascinating meeting where I was able to look at a live feed of my baby.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>Life is such a miracle, and I am so overwhelmed with this gift that God has granted us.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>With a quick flicker on the image we know that this ever so little (4mm) person\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s heart is beating. Utterly amazing!<span style=\"\">   <\/span>Life is so precious, such fantastic those images encourage me to embrace every breath.<br \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial;font-size:85%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;\"><o:p><\/o:p>I think it is funny how being an expectant father changes, how people view you. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s like I have joined a secret club one that only father\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s can join.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>People want to give me advice and tell me stories about their baby, though I tend only to listen to my friends and filter out the rest.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>All I know is this is quite a big change in my life and I am glad it is happening.<br \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial;font-size:85%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;\"><o:p><\/o:p>Out on the gaming front:<br \/>Last weekend I purchased The Matrix Online.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>I probably would not have spent the money if Dusty had not put down his money.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>Now that I have it I am trying to play it enough to form more than first impressions and actually build some informed opinions.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>This would have been easier if blizzard had not added an honor system into WoW.<span style=\"\">   <\/span>This single change has had a dramatic effect of players creating armies and battling each other across the, now bloody, fields of Hillsbrad and Arthai.<span style=\"\">   <\/span>Minus the video and network lag these battles bring with them, they are amazingly fun.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>We witnessed the Horde push forward step by step behind a wall spells and totems. Much, much fun!<o:p><br \/><\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial;font-size:85%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;\"><o:p><\/o:p>WoW and Matrix has been hording my time but I found a bit of time to play a bit of Jade Empire.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>So far it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s pretty good, but not Knights of the old Republic good.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>I am enjoying the story and game play enough to keep making time for it.<br \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial;font-size:85%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;\"><o:p><\/o:p>Next week is the release of Guild Wars.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>Again a new game I am interested in; a very competition driven game with no monthly fee.
