A friend of mine came up with an idea to help make WoW fresh again for several of us, not that I really needed it. We created a new guild on the Horde side of a fairly new server, The Venture Co. ; a pvprp server. None of us has much experience on the Horde side, and being on a young server changes the economic and social structure a bit from what we are used to.<\/p>\n
Then added to that we pulled in several friends and co-workers that have never played or only played a bit of WoW. The plan was to have one night a week where everyone gets together and does something. We set a ‘par’ level that everyone should try to get one character to for that night, so we can all contribute. Last night was our first such night, it was a success.<\/p>\n
We ended up have three groups of people show up and run through Ragefire Chasm. One group started just after 8pm, and the other two after nine. I think everyone had a good time, and learned a bit about grouping with each other. The only negative is the fact that my internet connection can not handle the bandwidth up need to host eight people on Ventrilo.<\/p>\n
We are still deciding what to do next week, but I suspect no matter what we decide it will be fun.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
