Game tracker 2023 edition

I was chatting with some friends over the weekend, and decided that I’d try something new. This year I am going to try to keep an ongoing list of games I play, instead of putting together a list at the end of the year.

Note, since I’m starting a few months into the year, this list might be off a bit but I will try and do better moving forward.

Also I am not including games I play for a single quick quick session. Meaning don’t expect to see a game I install something on a whim, and play it for 2 hours but never touch it again.

The List

  • Marvel Snap
    • I’ve been playing this for about an hour pretty much every day. I really like this game.
  • Kingdome Come Deliverance
    • Truth time: I didn’t actually play much of this at all, heck I don’t think I finished the tutorial. But I did spend a whole weekend mucking around with mods and replaying that beginning part, so it earned a spot on the list.
  • The Cycle: Frontier
    • I jumped into several games before the season 2 ended, and so far one afternoon in season 3. This is great for when I’m in the mood for an extraction shooter that is not Tarkov.
  • Escape From Tarkov
    • Every now and then I get the itch to sneak around in the world of Tarkov, trying to desperately make it out.
  • Stalker
  • ZERO Sievert
  • Project Zomboid
  • Elden Ring
    • I went back picked up my save from last year and cleared most of the game. I didn’t finish it before I had to step away, but I’m sure I’ll come back at some point.
  • Hi-Fi Rush
    • An amazingly entertaining romp wrapped into a complete game package.
  • Hitman 3 Freelancer
    • I am terrible at this game, but that didn’t stop me from having fun for a few nights.
  • Atomic Heart
    • Alas this didn’t meet my insane expectations, but it was a fun enough Bioshock-esq game that held my interest long enough to complete.
  • Diablo 2 Resurrected
  • Diablo 3
  • Diablo 4 Beta
  • Last Epoch
  • World of Warcraft
    • Of course it’s on the list
  • Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
    • Played a few nights with a friend
  • Everspace 2
    • I’m currently still playing this wonderful space shooter. It is full of content and continues to pull me forward. But like many space games, I’m starting to find myself longing for something else.
  • WarTales
  • Honkai Star Rail
  • The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
    • A wonderful game, one I found more engaging than its processor.
  • Diablo 4 Retail
  • Lost Judgement
  • Final Fantasy 16
  • Remnant 2
  • Baldur’s Gate 3 (retail)
  • Starfield
  • Lies of P (just a bit)
