Some Old Stuff

On and off last week I spent time going through boxes of old stuff I had stacked up in my closet. Recalling events from those days is an interesting exercise and reminds me how useful keeping some sort of journal can be. Simple things like what an average day is like, what songs are on the radio and shows on tv as well as more complex things like emotions and relationships are amazing to look back on years later. Crazy.

Rhonda has been holding up well these first couple of months of pregnancy. I pray that both baby and mommy stay healthy and that the pregnancy and birth are smooth.

On the gaming side of things:
I hit the wall in the Matrix. The live events are nice, and the RP community is active, but that is not enough to make up for the lack of polish and stale content. Heck I love the setting. But there are just too many things that frustrate me, for me to spend money on it.

In the World of Warcraft, I am having a great time with the PvP but am finding the process of leveling up becoming tedious without my regular group of friends. This game will continue to get my money for at least another month since I am very curious to see how the battlegrounds play. Heck it would be getting all my play time, if not for Guild Wars. My first impression after 3 hours of play: Nice and fun. I will post my full impressions after I have put in closer to a dozen hours.

Other things:
I miss Battlestar Galactica.
I am looking forward to the next new Lost.
With only two episodes left to watch of Firefly, I am angry that this show got cancelled.
Episode three less than a month away, Batman in less than two, and Serenity in less than six.
