I woke up this morning feeling a bit lethargic and sick. So, I made the decision to stay at home and get some sleep. Then I tried to sleep and found I could not, so I grabbed my wife’s laptop and started to browse the web. Technology is great! Soon I was here and posting an update seemed like the thing to do.

Last weekend my wife and I took part in a tortures activity; fence post removal.
I expected that this was an activity that I would not enjoy, and I was partially correct. The actual process of digging, and breaking apart concrete was a horrible experience that I would rather never repeat, but working with my wife and overcoming the obstacle I would not trade for anything. *smile*

I am not sure when the official start of summer is, but as far as I am concerted summer is here. Most TV shows are on break, big summer movies have started to release, and the daily temperatures have begun to rise. When I was a child, summer was a time of freedom, and fun where everyday was open to me; now summer is just the hotter time of the year. Summer does bring a slew of new action movies, and we really enjoy the action movie. Already we have seen Star Wars Ep. 3 , and Mr. &Mrs. Smith, both of which were well worth my time and money.

Now while there are usually more movies release that I want to see, there is almost always a lack of new TV shows. This means I will get to spend more time reading. Heck I might actually get a few books wrapped up that I have started. I just finished up Assassin’Â’s Quest by Robin Hobbb; it’s the third in a trilogy of books and has been my favorite of the three. I have really enjoyed it but it has taken me way to long to finish. For some reason over the last few months I have been easily distracted when trying to read, and the result is this book taking me 3 months to finish. But now its done, and I have stared Magic Ship (the first in Hobb’s next trilogy) I hope it does not take me all summer to finish.

Another interesting note is that I have cancelled all of my online game accounts except for one World of Warcraft account. I just do not see any reason to pay for other games right now. I want to love City of Heroes but I can not continue to play games that punish players with XP loss, so for now I stay a non-paying fan. And I want to go back and see how all the changes have effected SWG, but I so want to get at least one character to level 60 and I don’t need more games to distract me. At least that’s what I said before I stated playing the Battlefield 2 demo. I have never been this bad at a game that I wanted to keep playing. *sigh* This game is so addictive; it I believe is the cause of my illness. See I have been up to the wee hours of the morning the last few nights playing and I think my body finally gave in. Scary thing is this is only the demo; what am I going to do when the full game releases. *cry*

Time for more sleep. Bye.
