So in a few hours I will be in a room with my wife as we participate in our last regularly scheduled pre birth sonogram. As I wait and pray that everything with the baby looks ok, I try and imagine what life was like a hundred years ago. Fathers and mothers had so little information, the whole pregnancy and birthing process was such a surprise for each new parent. Then I look at today and I see how amazing the technology is. Really in a few hours I will be looking at my baby inside my wife, it is just utterly amazing.

I will stand again in awe of Gods power. The power to, not only create life, but to give that life such a curious and inventive mind. I will watch the screen in wonder and awe mumbling to myself, “That is my baby.”
