Sunday Drive

This post is not about taking a Sunday drive, it is one.

First, I admit I have failed in my task to post something every day for a month. Though I am going to try and keep posting everyday, that way I will feel pressure to get to writing.

Second, while we were out today I got to watch some people play the WoW tcg. It was cool to actually see the game played rather than just read about it. While watching I was reminded of something I noticed when I watched other card games played; some people have odd (to me) game “twitched”.

What I mean by that is they do some action that seems like nervous twitch. Some examples; constantly re-ordering cards in their hand, flicking one card against others in their hand, snapping cards onto the table when played. Also I go nuts in my head, when I see a disorganized play field. In one game I watch I had to force myself not to reach out and straighten up all the cards, and put them in neat rows. Oh well.

Other thing I came away with today, was having the good cards matters. A well constructed deck stocked with cards that have good synergy (this means having some rares) puts you at a huge advantage over a deck contructed out of a started and few boosters when you do not have enough of the rare/uncommon allies or class cards you need. All of which is good for the game maker and bad for the player that does not have the cash to invest in cards.

And finally, I want a clothes washer that is extra large because going to the laundry mat is not a good use of time.
