Yes I know it is a day late, but I wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

This has been a great holiday week for me. First my wife has a few extra days off which has allowed us to actually visit both our moms. While our travels are not to long, they are the longest Lauren has taken, and she has been a wonderful traveler.

It was so much fun watching her and Rhonda open her presents. She got some pretty exciting new toys, all of which also teach her things. Though she loved the wrapping paper the best. If someone creates wrapping paper babies can eat, they will be rich.

I was also surprised when my wife told me I had a present under the tree. I had no idea she had bought me anything. When I opened it and saw the xbox360 box, I was beside myself. She really did surprise me. I was totally not expecting that. I felt like a kid again with a new toy. Such good times.

Also this past weekend was the first time we actually used the play pen. Lauren will sit and play by herself and it is so nice not to have to worry about her rolling into something. Being a dad is more wonderful than I ever imagined, and has been the best gift of all.
