Fun with the 360

I think it is funny that I have spent more time playing demos and Live Arcade games on my shiny new Xbox360, than all the time spent on actual 360 games.

Simple fast games are so great on the console. I can sit down and play for 15 minutes or I can play for an hour knowing that I can drop the game at any time. Most of all they are fun. I am actually afraid to buy some MS points since I know they would be gone in an instant on a half-dozen arcade games. I am surprised MS is not selling an credit card slider as an accessory.

As for the actual games I have and have played:
Gears of War: Looks and sounds great, but I really want to play co-op and the baby is a bit unhappy with the insane sounds of gunfire. (time to get some wireless headphones)

Viva Pinata: Pretty, and much more complex than I expected. Lots and lots of reading with cut scenes interrupting me when I am doing something. I want to like it, but I am not sure yet.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance: I really enjoyed X-Men Legends 2 (where is the BC update for it) and this game seems to deliver the same sort of action. Again I need to find some friends to play co-op with.

So far I am very pleased with the 360, and am actually looking forward to getting more console time.
