A friend of mine came up with an idea to help make WoW fresh again for several of us, not that I really needed it. We created a new guild on the Horde side of a fairly new server, The Venture Co. ; a pvprp server. None of us has much experience on the Horde side, and being on a young server changes the economic and social structure a bit from what we are used to.

Then added to that we pulled in several friends and co-workers that have never played or only played a bit of WoW. The plan was to have one night a week where everyone gets together and does something. We set a ‘par’ level that everyone should try to get one character to for that night, so we can all contribute. Last night was our first such night, it was a success.

We ended up have three groups of people show up and run through Ragefire Chasm. One group started just after 8pm, and the other two after nine. I think everyone had a good time, and learned a bit about grouping with each other. The only negative is the fact that my internet connection can not handle the bandwidth up need to host eight people on Ventrilo.

We are still deciding what to do next week, but I suspect no matter what we decide it will be fun.
