24 Idol Heroes

With World of Warcraft back in my life I cut out a lot of my TV watching time to play. This means maybe one hour of TV a night, and another two during the days I am watching Lauren. With new episodes of shows now being aired, my tivo is building up quiet a backlog, and the shows I am actively watching has changed.

First 24. I have completed the first 3 seasons, and am now watching the fourth. While it makes you prone to spoilers, and unable to talk socially about the show, I think DVD is the best way to watch this show. Though there is one big thing to keep in mind, if you watch too much too fast it will seem repetitive and lack some suspense. It was ment, mostly, to be watched 1 hour a week and with a seven month break between seasons. If you watch two seasons in a month, you will burn out.

American Idol. I have watch more this season than all the others combined. I have been drawn in. Yes the first few weeks are like watching a train wreck, but you get attached to those auditionees that are decent and get to go forward. Ok, maybe you don’t, but I did and now I want to watch and see who makes it all the way.

And finally Heroes. The second half of season one started up this week and it did not disappoint. I think this has become my favorite show on TV. It answers questions, while introducing more , while pushing the plot forward, while deepening the characters, all in an a very entertaining way. Not only are we excited to watch each episode, we make it a same night watching. Glad to here there will be a season two.

The rest; aka shows I still tivo and want to watch but are given less priority:
Lost (back next month)
BSG (three episodes behind now*sigh*)
House
Smallville
CSI
Jericho
Studio 60
